Tara Na goes to the Top 10 Emerging Infulential Blogs for 2010 Awards Night
Congratulations to the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010!!
Last night, I tried my best to catch up at the awarding ceremony and bloggers’ eyeball of this year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. The event was almost over when I arrived at Le Bistro Vert in Makati coming from school. But nevertheless, I had a great time meeting the bloggers behind the blogs.
I was really looking forward to meeting people and socializing that night. It was really important to me since I’m an introvert and it’s really hard for me to initiate conversations. “I promise to talk if you talk to me first!” I’m like that hahaha. I wanted to make up for the opportunity I lost at iBlog6 where I wasn’t able to talk to anybody at all just because I was too shy to approach people. And fortunately I succeeded! See? I even have pictures with the other bloggers
(Yes, even approaching people for a picture is very very hard for me haha)
WordCamp 2010: I’m Going, Are You?
Thank goodness I checked e-mail yesterday morning!
If you are going to WordCamp2010 like me, I suppose you already know that we are suppose to set our schedule for the breakaway talks in the morning. Like what I’ve mentioned from my previous post about WordCamp we get to choose talks that suits our WordPress skill level and blogging needs. The WordCamp PH 2010 organizers have set up a microsite for the registered attendees. In central.wordcampphilippines.com, the attendees can set their breakaway talks schedule, choose shirt size, set food restriction, edit their WordCamp profile and the most important part (i guess), print their tickets for the event! Oh, and the microsite has a wall too where the attendees could check out who else would be there.

The Orange Deserves an Android Phone! ;)

My summer 2010 was my most productive summer ever! Yes, I am proud to tell the whole wide world that the word productive is now existing in my vocabulary.
This summer was not like my other summers spent watching cartoons and playing online games while waiting for summer to be over because I have nothing to do. Really. Our family is unlike the rest who spends the summer beach hopping. It’s pretty normal for summer to pass without having to set foot on a resort nor a beach. But it’s ok.
I love summer because there’s no stress from school! hihihi
As I was scouting for places for our elementary reunion that I was organizing, I found a travel blog that caught my attention because of the really nice places she goes to. I wanted to see lots of places too and see the beauty of the world. And that blog inspired me to create my own. I want a blog to go hand in hand with my goal because I know that if I have a travel blog, it would push me to travel so that I can put something in it. And right here now in front of your very eyes is my own travel and food blog. Tara-na.com was born.
My mom is very supportive of my idea of creating a blog. She liked the idea of me writing regularly because it would help me develop my thinking, writing and English skills. Thus, I was able to Read the rest of this entry »
