This is surely a must event for those who want to succeed in the field of internet marketing and of course, blogging. I spent my entire summer 2010 trying to learn some geeky stuff that goes hand in hand with blogging – that is if you want to get loads of organic visitors, visitors that come from search engines. I’ve learned that if you want to make a living out of blogging, you want to have organic visitors – lots of them!! And how do you get loads of organic visitors? That’s where search engine optimization (SEO) comes in. SEO is that technical side of blogging that you do so that your blog and your posts would rank high in results page of search engines when someone googles a certain word or phrase or what we call keyword. Of course you want to appear in the front page of results! How do you do that? Hard core SEO! hahaha. 60% of tara-na.com’s visitors come from search engines, not bad for a newbie right?

With SEO, you can be bestfriends with Google.

Statistics says that 5% of organic visitors click ads. Now if you have lots of organic visitors plus ads on the right places you’ll earn lots of $$$ from advertisements alone, plus there’s affiliate marketing and all that jazz! And it’s really awesome if some of your organic visitors would like your blog and then eventually become your loyal readers

Nothing beats that of course. I still have a lot to learn and I hope to master and apply SEO perfectly in the near future!
