Weeee! The writing project has begun and I am really excited to participate for the first time in this year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. Basically, it’s a writing project that aims to promote new blogs and put the spotlight on them. I encourage you guys to join this writing project. This would really be fun esp. if you are new just like me cause you will meet lots of bloggers. All you need is a non-anonymous blog that exists for at least 3 months by the time you submit your write-up. http://www.wheninmanila.com/ – A cool blog of a cool guy! An awesome blog to promote the awesome City of Manila and the rest of the Philippine Islands! What makes it more awesome are the video blogs hosted in YouTube – it’s like a show on TV I was really surprised to find out that this blog is qualified for the writing project blog-age-wise. It’s as if it has been online for quite a long time already. This blog has fun, thrill, humor, excitement and a lot more You would really enjoy watching the video blogs The Dept. of Tourism should support this blog!

http://pinasbackpackers.blogspot.com/ – I find Arzeriel’s blog interesting cause he is from the south and his blog is like a tour guide to Mindanao. Sayang lang at ang layo ng Mindanao! Most people are scared to go to Mindanao because of war, killings and all that. But reading his blog makes you forget all of those negative things associated to Mindanao and all you see is the beauty of nature in Mindanao. This blog has a lot of potential in helping promote tourism in the south. There are so many wonderful places there to see! To me, this blog deserves all the attention a blog could get from this writing project as only a few know that this travel blog exists.

http://manilashopaholic.com/ – I love it! It’s a blog for the love of shopping. But what I love the most about this blog is that it aims to help market Filipino entrepreneurs especially the young starting ones. You see, I am an entrepreneur in the making. In a year, I would be in the entrepreneurship practicum program and I could feel all the pressure as early as now. It makes me happy to see that there are people who are there to support Filipino entrepreneurs and we Filipinos have grown up from the imported-stuff mentality. Tangkilikin natin ang sariling atin This economy still has a future if only everyone would learn to value local products. Let us showcase the creativity of Filipino entrepreneurs!

http://tara-na.com/ – Hohoho. Shameless self nomination of a newbie. Ok, so yeah. I admit, I was really hesitant at first to nominate myself and do self promotion, but a nomination from Vince made me think about it. Thank you!! Sayang naman kasi di ba? Why not grab this opportunity to let the blogosphere know that me and the blog exists! Haha! Anyway, Tara Na! is about food, travel and anything in between. Tara Na! is my personal long term project – to travel the world BIT by BIT, yeah!! A small step to reach a great goal. The blog exists to motivate me to see new places and appreciate the things around me, like my own hometown for example which is rich in history. This travel blog aims to explore everything a place has to offer, including hidden treasures – stuff that only a few people know like the locals and also stuff that are not given much attention cause of too much familiarity. Tara na! Sama ka?

A blog that showcases Robbie’s talent in digital arts – which is my mega uber frustration Not only he is creative, but you’ll find that he has a lot of sense of humor too! Napahagalpak ako sa tawa ng makita ko ang post nya na Role Model – 7 na naglalaman ng comic strip na pinamagatang “Reality Check 2″. Dali!! Punta kayo sa blog nya tapos basahin nyo to. Mega-laugh trip, bentang-benta hahaha! Plus, there are Photoshop tutorials too to watch out for Weee! Keep up the creative-dork work!

http://facebuko.com/ – Super laugh trip! Dito pala galing sa blog na ito yung mga photo conversations na tinatag sa FB. The author of this blog has a great sense of humor. Facebuko has a very creative way of attacking showbiz chismis and making fun of public personalities. The blog layout is also pretty impressing, it’s so like FB! Stressed much? I still have so much to learn. I look up to these blogs and wish that one day tara-na.com could be just like them too – photography-wise and writing style-wise. I wish to be a true foodie like them!
